– All portable signs require a permit to be erected within the city of Brooks, including a permit if relocating

– No portable sign shall interfere with traffic circulation, obstruct traffic signals, or interfere with the visibility of traffic

– No portable sign shall project beyond the property line without written approval

– A portable sign shall not obstruct doorways, walk ways, fire escapes, natural light of an adjacent building, or exhibit obscene or would be offensive to the public

– No portable signs are permitted on City property except the following:

• the JBS Canada Centre – for the duration of special events or programs held on the property
• Signs containing city events
